The Torah is the first five books in the Bible. It is the foundation of our faith and the lens through which we should view the rest of Abba's Word.
When I started on my deeper journey of Truth 19 years ago, I was captivated by the depth of the Torah. For most it seems very mundane but when you start digging into the Hebrew and discover what lies hidden beneath, a whole new world opens up.
In 2021 Abba started calling me by another name (prophetic when teaching) and covered me in a mantle of Deborah. What does that mean? Deborah means 'bee' in Hebrew. I found that amusing because I also farm with bees and have a couple of hives.
We read about Deborah in Judges 4-5. She is called a 'mother' of Yisrael and came into her position when there was war in the gates. At the time of her ruling, Yisrael was in desperate need for deliverance and had been living in fear of the Philistines for the past 20 years.
Deborah judged and ruled the people from the shade of a palm tree. This is very prophetic. A palm tree represents righteousness and refers to something that is upright or a pillar. I believe it to be symbolic of the Messiah and that it is only through His Spirit of Wisdom and guidance that she was able to lead her people.
She was married to a man called 'Lapidoth', which means 'the shining one', also a reference to our heavenly bridegroom.
The root word for 'bee' [Dabar] also means 'Word or promise', (Torah). In Psalms it says that 'Your Word is as sweet as honey...'. I love the connection and wordplay here. As honey is found in the honeycomb, so the revelation must be extracted from the Word. This is the Deborah anointing - to break open His word so that others can taste the sweetness thereof.
Bees has many other properties that can be seen as prophetic. They pollenate the trees in the garden when in bloom. This ensures that the flowers turns into beautiful sweet fruit. The same are with people in the body who carry a Deborah anointing - the gather revelations from the Word and pollenate the trees (teachable hearts of believers) so that they can bear much fruit.
Most bees are female! I find that it points to the Bride of the end time that works hand in hand with her Messiah to further the Kingdom.
Abba has laid it upon my heart to do an in depth Torah study like never before... And to share that with you who are hungry for the the MEAT of the Word.
I am currently only studying 7 verses per day, and that takes me a couple of hours!
We will be looking at short sections in the Torah. The goal is to look into the ancient Hebrew and search for hidden deeper meanings in order to know more about the heart of Abba. Our other main objective will be to search out the Messiah in the Torah, like the Shulamite Bride sought her Bridegroom in Song of Songs.
It will help you to work through my Ancient Hebrew course on Youtube (available in English and Afrikaans) but it is not a requirement. This will just lay a foundation of how I like to break open the Word.
I will not post everyday, but as I get time to write, so please be patient with me.
